PARTNERING IN DOHA, QATAR

We invite you to join SGMC in supporting the construction of a new Global Methodist Church in Doha, Qatar. Your gifts—designated “Qatar Church Project”—will directly help our brothers and sisters in Christ as they build a permanent home for worship. Please send your donations by Sunday, May 24 when our pastors will take SGMC's offering to annual conference.


During his visit to Amory on April 15, Bishop Scott Jones shared an inspiring update about the growing Methodist congregation in Doha. Qatar is home to only 300,000 native Qataris but more than 2.5 million international workers, many of whom are Christians seeking a place to gather, worship, and grow in faith. Construction on their new church building has already begun, and we have the privilege of joining this Kingdom work.
